MacLaren Techno XT A Solid Buy Despite Limitations

Few products can straddle the line between style and functionality and deliver on both counts. Too many strollers are reduced to mere ego stroking status symbols, without offering the abilities every parent wants, which are shockingly simple yet so very hard to come by when shopping. Essentially, what I want in a stroller is easy motion, easy clean up and plain old comfort. It’d be nice if the stroller looked radiant and gorgeous, but it’s not on my list of top priorities.

It’s built smart, and that’ll pay off when you try to thread your way through a busy department store. With the six inch wheels powering your stroller, you won’t have to worry about getting stuck in the elements or on differing terrain.

Add to that the fact that it’s so lightweight you honestly can’t hang anything from the handle and you’ve got a serious limitation that has yet to be addressed. The Techno is perfect for walking, but you’re going to need some accessories before it’s perfect for everyday use.

Conclusion: Solid Stroller For the Money

Amazon.com lists the MacLaren Techno XT Stroller at $288.88, a little more expensive than a Quinny stroller but not quite up to the heavy price tag attached to the Quinny Buzz. It’s solid for what it’s made for: walking in comfort.

That makes the MacLaren Techno XT one of the best buys for its price.
